Primary Function
Safely and efficiently manage company fleet equipment breakdowns with commitment to excellence.
Description
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through completion of quality, efficient and safe repair/maintenance work.
- Maintain communication with all involved parties throughout the maintenance work process.
- Responsible for reducing equipment downtime through communication and by recommending new ideas to management.
- Responsible for compliance with all company guidelines and procedures.
- Responsible for completion of all required documentation legibly, accurately and timely.
- Utilize company computer systems to manage all maintenance work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to grow in position.
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
- Willingness to travel within close proximity of terminal (close geographical area), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of motor carrier equipment repair
- Must have a driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Education Required
High School Diploma or GED
