Primary Function
Maintenance clerical responsibilities for the accounting department.
Description
- Process vendor invoices and paperwork to ensure accuracy, validity, and completeness.
- Provide GL coding on vendor invoices and submit to accounts payable for processing
- Maintain certain schedules and provide support to controller and accounting staff to meet reporting deadlines
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations to meet company demands and expectations.
- Prepare reports, complete data entry as needed.
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through completion of quality clerical work.
- Compliance with all company guidelines and procedures.
- Complete all required documentation legibly, accurately, and timely.
- Maintain accounting and maintenance department records as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

- Good analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Full knowledge of computer operations and applications.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- AS400/Innovative transportation software experience
- Knowledge of the transportation industry
Education Required
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a field related to the specialized functional area.
