Congratulations to Perry Pope, Big G Express May 2023 Driver of the Month!

Perry Pope joined Big G in December of 2012. His first professional truck driving job was with Movers World in Adak AK in 1991 where he hauled household goods for Military personnel. Over Perry's extensive years of trucking, he has pulled flatbed, reefers, vans, and doubles.

Looking back over his career, a memory that sticks out, was running out west. He ran as a team with his wife. They really enjoyed the scenery out there.

A few words of advice for new drivers:

Take time to understand that every day will not be a bed of roses. Listen to advice from other experienced drivers and try to make the best out of every situation.

Perry lives in Greeneville TN with his wife Sara of 21 years. Together they have 2 sons and 6 grandchildren. Perry's hobbies consist of quality quiet time with his family and attending church services.
