Congratulations to Thomas Sharpe, Big G Express April 2023 Driver of the Month!

Thomas joined the Big G team in Sept of 2017. Before starting his driving career, he was a correctional officer. He also drove while serving in the US army and pulled a lowboy hauling tanks. He started his career in trucking in 2014 at US Express. Looking back over his trucking career one thing that comes to mind is learning from making mistakes.

His advice for new drivers: Be patient when you first start driving, success will come with patience and perseverance, always deliver your freight on time, and in a safe manner.

Thomas lives in Winston Salem NC with his wife of 2 years and has one child Shamon. During his free time, he likes to spend his time on his motorcycle and try not get lost. He really prefers long rides.
